Linda Crouch-McCreadie, Tennessee Quilts, Jonesborough, TN.  Linda is the co-owner of Tennessee Quilts, located in historic Jonesborough, Tennessee’s oldest town.  Linda has been quilting since 1988 when she took a quilting class and became addicted.  Her addiction resulted in the purchase of an existing quilt shop in Jonesborough in 2000.  The shop is currently home to over 8,000 bolts of fabric and is a Judy Niemeyer Certified Shop.  It was also named as a featured shop in the American Patchwork and Quilting Magazine in 2011.  Linda has produced a number of award-winning quilts.  Two of the quilts she quilted for hire have been juried into and exhibited at the American Quilter’s Society show in Paducah, Kentucky. In a former life, Linda was a teacher and a lawyer. She is happiest now that she can spend all of her time with quilting and related projects.  You can contact Linda at: www.tennesseequilts.com

    Managing Unfinished Quilts

    Dream It * Quilt It

    With Emma Jane Powell

Program Description:  Let’s face our unfinished projects.  This fun, self-deprecating, and interactive lecture will jump start your drive to change the pending status of ongoing sewing projects.  We will dive deep into why these projects are on the backburner, and learn how to proceed with quilts you may have lost your enthusiasm for, or would love to finally finish.  You will be given action items to work towards managing your current WIP, and strategies to stop UFOs before they start.  A bundle of downloadable PDF printables to accompany action items are included in the program.

Bio: Continuing a family legacy of quilting for over 25 years, Emma Jane has tried it all, and she loves every step of the quilting process.  A career public school ESL teacher for many years, she jumped ship after having a baby in her 40s, and now teaches quilting.  Seeing her passion for quilting reflected in a student’s work is truly an honor.
